It’s free, but you must call to register - space is limited.

Tricia Cassidy, a wetlands expert, will introduce you to the exotic frogs, salamanders, insects and plants that inhabit vernal pools for a short time each spring. Come experience this New England springtime phenomenon.

The Natural Resources Trust of Bridgewater (NRTB) is teaming up with the Parkland Stewardship Council (PSC), the Bridgewater Conservation Commission and Bridgewater State College for this exciting
Earth Day event.

Spring Cleaning in our parks!

You may join us at any of the six park sites on the morning of April 21 st
Bring your own rake, clippers etc. and be sure to put your name on your tools.

& Visitors” conference.

places that are open to the public. If you’re an “on-the-ground steward” we

Nature Walk at the Old State Farm
NRTB has organized a Nature Walk at the Old State Farm property in Bridgewater. The walk will be led by naturalist Ellyn Einhorn, of MassAudubon, and will take place on Wedneday, May 10 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. - rain or shine.

If you would like to attend, we will meet at the parking lot of the Unitarian Universalist Church at 50 School Street in Bridgewater (east of the fire station). We will car pool to the site on Summer Street.

Join us to explore one of Bridgewater's beautiful open spaces!

Each of Bridgewater's Park Sites will have work crews cleaning up winter debris. Come join us from 9am to Noon at anyone of the Parks:

Wyman Meadow Conservation Area -- Titicut Conservation Area

Would you like to visit one and find out all its secrets?

Come join The Park Stewards Council and NRTB for this special spring treat on
Saturday April 8 th , 2006 at Tuckerwood Conservation Area - High Street - Bridgewater

One tour starts at 10am; the second tour starts at 11am
So you'll be able to see and hear all, space is limited to 10 people each tour

Call the NRTB at 508-697-7317 and leave your name, number of people for the tour and time you wish to attend. Please leave your phone number so we can contact you to verify your time.

Directions: Tuckerwood Conservation Area

- From Bridgewater Center go north on Route 18 for a little over 1 mile
- Turn right onto High Street
- Continue 1.2 miles thru intersection of Hayward Street.
- Right of way is on the right Posted with sign stating Tuckerwood Conservation Area.
- This entrance looks like a residential driveway.
