Canoe Launch and Pedestrian Bridge
Partnership Project


Property Features

Canoe Launch
A fully-functioning canoe launch has been constructed and can be used in close proximity to the proposed pedestrian bridge.

Town River
Along with canoeing, other activities such as, fishing, swimming, kayaking, and tubing are now made available along a 14 mile stretch from the Hockomock Swamp to the Taunton River.

Recreation Area
Student and local recreation groups from the community and region benefit from this newly developing property. It allows for a staging area for river activity and other passive pursuits, as well as an outdoor classroom.
