NRTB Board of Directors
About NRTB

2007 Officers and Directors

Volunteer officers and directors, including both new and long-time residents of Bridgewater, lead NRTB. Directors must be NRTB dues-paying members. A director is elected by the general membership at the March Annual Meeting of the organization, and may serve two consecutive 3-year terms. The Board of Directors must assume legal responsibility and accountability for the affairs of the organization.

Paula Cantave, Director (2010)
A Bridgewater resident for 41 years, Paula is retired from the Bridgewater-Raynham School District, where she helped to develop a comprehensive science curriculum for elementary students and participated in grant-sponsored programs such as PALMS, Project Aquatic Wild and Project Outreach. Paula holds a masters degree from Lesley College in Curriculum Development with an emphasis on the Arts.   She founded the Bridgewater Birders after many years as a member of the Massachusetts Audubon Society, Bridgewater Garden Club, and the MA Cultural Arts Council. Paula's efforts were acknowledged by the Executive Office of Environmental Affairs in 2000 at a ceremony at the State House.   Paula wants to use these connections to enrich the environmental education for local community, especially since her sons have moved back to Bridgewater and want to raise their children here.
